Yan Jiang is a Chinese Canadian author and illustrator based in Providence, and a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (2026).
Surrounded by different languages, she learned to observe and reflect in silence. Her quiet thoughts gradually transform into drawings that celebrate the whimsical and unpredictable worlds of her imagination.
Her client list includes Red Deer Press, Chronicle Books, and Simon & Schuster Canada, as well as other book projects. Her work has been recognized by iJungle Illustration Awards, Creative Quarterly, and Beijing International Book Fair.
